“To measure is to know” (Lord Kelvin)

Digital gap is a social issue, which refers to the gap between people with effective access to fixed computer and the Internet and those who do not have such access. This gap increases as the country is more dependent on technology, economic and democratic processes. Reducing the digital divide has been shown helps reduce socio-economic disparities.
Local policy design, national and philanthropic ICT depends on the existence of appropriate measures. The aspiration is expected Israel would be a national computerized measurement and comparison tool towards reducing the digital divide, policy design and evaluation, and an impetus for future investments in infrastructure and technology education by The authorities in Israel.
